About The Artist

Justin Wheatley is a Utah-based artist known for his evocative portrayals of nature and architecture. He holds a BFA from Utah State University and an MA from National University. His work is influenced by his love for both the natural world and the built environment, capturing beauty in everyday moments. Wheatley’s art has been exhibited nationally, with pieces in collections like the Springville Museum of Art, Brigham Young University, and Marriott International.

Represented by galleries such as Abend Gallery in Denver and Giacobbe-Fritz Fine Art in Santa Fe, Wheatley’s work has earned multiple awards, including recognition from the Springville Museum of Art. His exhibitions include solo shows at venues like the Church History Museum and Sue Greenwood Fine Art in Laguna Beach.

In addition to his artistic practice, Wheatley is an educator at Connection Alternative High School in Salt Lake County, where he teaches art and has developed online curricula. He is also the publisher of artistteachers.org and holds National Board Certification.
